thank you for your excellent extension, you helped a lot of people trying to keep their google contacts in sync with Thunderbird!
However, I have a small suggestion: would it be possible to sync Thunderbird's default address book instead of creating a new one in Thunderbird which will be synced? Technically, I understand why you are doing it like this, but I assume the default use-case for most users is just: "Sync my contacts between Thunderbird and Google" so having at least the option to sync Thunderbird's default address book would be nice.
If you google for something like: "Make Google Contacts the default address book", you see that a lot of people already try to find a workaround for the problem that adding new contacts in Thunderbird doesn't add them to Google, because the new contacts landed in Thunderbirds default address book instead of Google Contact's.
Keep up the good work!
I have the same request. Please add the option to make both Gmail and TB addressbooks the same. i.e.: Sync both with the same name in the same location. Thanks!
I also have the same request.
This feature would make your great addon even better to use for many "normal" users who dont like to handle with multiple adressbooks.
Thank you for your work!
