For some weeks now I get this error (I turned "Take a log" on to see what's going on):
Retrieving Google Contacts ... New contacts object. Serial: 0 Yield weight: 100 start listening ... Maybe there is something changed in google procotol or my addressbook is corrupt or something?
Since I get this error, there is no Google Adressbook anymore in my Thunderbird Adressbook.
Found the Error. Thunderbird must have made a copy of my adressbook (abook.mab) and named it abook-1.mab (and another copy abook-2.mab).
The plugin used the older version of the adressbook: "URI is moz-abmdbdirectory://abook-1.mab" But that adressbook is not displayed when you open the adressbook in thunderbird, so every change the plugin makes is not shown - so it seems the plugin is not working.
I just found the error by chance, maybe you should find the reason for thunderbird making copies of the adressbook. Or make sure you write in the right adressbook.
Fixed in v0.7b1
