Google Contacts 0.6.38 will have a logging function. I've implemented it to v0.6.38b1 as a test.
Logging is disabled by default. Open option dialog and enable "Take a log" option. The log file, whose name is "gc.log", is created in the working directory; you can see the path in "Working directory" section in Advance tab of the dialog.
You can also see the log by "Open log" button near the "Take a log" option.
Please use this function to report details of your problem.
