Editing the tags of several messages does not work properly.
For example:
Message1 has a tag - AAA
Message2 has a tag - BBB
I select both messages and click the tag - CCC
Unfortunately, message2 has AAA, BBB selected

It is intended behavior.
When you select multiple messages, the popup will be shown with tags the firstly selected message. And if you change tags, it will be assigned to all the selected messages.
For your example, popup appear with AAA tag. When you add CCC tag, AAA and CCC tags are assigned to the both messages.
