Similar to ticket number 33: changes in postal address fileds as well as changes in the custom fields of the Thunderbird address book aren't synces with GMail. As soon as I make a change e.g. in e-mail field the changes in the postal/custom fields are transferred.

v0.6.36b6 includes some fixes about postal address. I don't know details of your problem but it may be fixed. Please try it.
