Description

I have Google contacts installed on Thunderbird 7. I have a gmail account. If I add a contact to the address book in Thunderbird, then shut down and re-start Thunderbird, the new contact has been deleted from the address book in thunderbird.

Confirmed. Contacts delete after "reload" operation. Creating new contacts in Thunderbird became senseless. Account in google apps. Last version of thunderbird and "google contacts". Clear profile. Linux Mint 11.

And please confirm reloading has done before add a card to address book.
